Welcome to HeMAI 2026, a workshop on Multimodal Interaction with Generative AI Health Applications.

HeMAI 2026 is organized in conjunction with the
28th ACM International Conference on Multimodal Interaction (ICMI 2026) and takes place on Thursday, October 9, 2026 in Naples, Italy.

Generative AI and multimodal interaction open new opportunities for transparent, interactive, and user-centered health applications—while raising key challenges around privacy, safety, evaluation, and explainability of systems based on such technologies.

The program is now available: a keynote, three talks, and a poster session with five contributions, running from 9:00 to 16:30.

The call for papers is closed. Accepted contributions will be indexed by the ACM Digital Library in the adjunct proceedings to ICMI 2026.
